American Canyon Youth Football And Cheer

This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation, and submit payment.

Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately. 

To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa or MasterCard information available.

Please note we do cap our football and cheer teams, so spaces will be LIMITED. Once a particular team is full a waitlist will be created.

How to Register:

1.   You must sign up online on our website to reserve your athletes roster spot. 

2.   You will need to turn in paperwork at one of our in-person registration events before July 1st of the current year. In-person registration dates to turn in paperwork will be announced.

2024 Registration Cost:

Football ages: 6 years to 14 (No high school students – ALL 8TH GRADERS NEED TO REGISTER FOR 14U FOOTBALL) - $550 ($100 deposit required to hold your athletes spot). Full registration due on or before 08/01/24.

Cheer ages: 4 years to 14 (No high school students – ALL 8TH GRADERS NEED TO REGISTER FOR 14U CHEER) - $500 ($100 deposit required to hold spot). Package includes full uniform bow to toe (please note optional items may be offered at additional cost). $250due by 07/01/24 (Failure to pay in full could result in cheer uniform delays or cancelation of cheer uniform).

Required the following for both football & Cheer:

SPORTS PHYSICAL: All Football Players & Cheerleaders need a sports physical dated after April 1st of current year. Physical needs to be on medical providers letterhead or on SYF Physical form (see link below)

School Enrollment Form: All Football Players & Cheerleaders need to provide a school enrollment form, it must contain (Athletes name, date of birth and grade level, signed and stamped by the school or on school letterhead). These are available typically from your online school portal, school office or school districts office. Please note your child does not need to attend a American Canyon School to play for the American Canyon Junior Wolves.

Sibling Discount

If you are registering more than one player in your family, you will receive a $100 discount on the 2nd+ child's registration fee. In order for the registration system to recognize that you are registering multiple players, please register all of your players at this time. On the Review Page, there is a link near the bottom to "Register Another Player" - please click on this link to ensure that all of your players are registered within the same order.

2024 FOOTBALL INFORMATION:

Equipment Required:
The organization provides all required football equipment needed for the season except cleats, please note all loaned-out equipment must be returned at the end of the season. 


Football Player Eligibility: 
Our league has (4) levels of football (8U, 10U, 12U, 14U). The player’s age as of August 1 of the current year shall determine team level of participation. All incoming 8th graders are required to participate at the 14U level only (no high school students are allowed to play in our league). 

Player weight will determine position eligibility in levels 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U i.e., skilled player, X-Man. Any player that is weighing heavier than the skilled player weight will then be certified to participate as an X-Man only. 

*SP = Skilled Player, Eligible to participate anywhere on the field of play.

X-Man = A player weighing more than the SP weights. Eligible to participate on the offensive line within the Free Blocking zone. Eligible to participate on the Defensive line within the free blocking zone; may advance the ball during a fumble or interception. May participate on Kick off and Kickoff return teams on the front line only. X-Man will be encouraged to wear a jersey number in the 60s, 70s, to be easily recognizable to the officials. X-Man is allowed to be punter and kicker on special teams. X-Man will wear SYF authorized (only) sticker on the rear of the helmet.

2024 CHEER INFORMATION:

Cheerleader Eligibility: 
Ages: 4-14 
All incoming 8th graders are required to participate at the 14U level only (no high school students are allowed to cheer in our league).

Mandatory cheer uniform fitting: TBA

Sports physical must be dated after April 1 of this year.

School enrollment form needed (letter with athlete name, date of birth and grade level, signed and stamped by the school or on school letterhead).
